“The Son of Neptune” is the second book in Rick Riordan’s “Heroes of Olympus” series. The story follows Percy Jackson, who has lost his memory and is living among the Roman demigods at Camp Jupiter. Percy meets two other demigods: Hazel Levesque, a daughter of Pluto with a dark past, and Frank Zhang, a son of Mars with mysterious powers. Together, they are tasked with a dangerous quest to free the Greek goddess of the earth, Gaea, from her imprisonment. Their journey takes them across the western United States, where they face mythical creatures, unravel ancient prophecies, and confront personal challenges.
